The Ansul R-102TM Restaurant Fire Suppression System is an auto-matic, pre-engineered, fire suppression system designed to protect the following areas associated with cooking equipment; ventilating equip-ment including hoods, ducts, plenums, and filters; fryers; griddles and range tops upright, natural charcoal, or chain-type broilers; electric, lavarock, mesquite or gas-radiant char-broilers and woks.The system is ideally suitable for use in restaurants, hospitals, nursinghomes, hotels, schools, airports, and other similar facilities.
Use of the R-102 system is limited to interior applications only. The regu-lated release and tank assemblies must be mounted in an area where the air temperature will not fall below. The system must be designed and installed within the guide-lines of the Listed Design, Installation, Recharge, and Maintenance Manual.

Why Class F Wet Chemical

Class F Wet Chemicals are the leading choice for fire suppression when suppression of Fats & Oils is required. FET’s Class F Wet Chemicals are stored as a liquid, super pressurised with dry nitrogen and applied via a specialist nozzle.

Specially designed to tackle Class F hazards (Cooking Oils or Fats) the Class F Wet Chemical has special materials that react with hot burning oil to create a thick soapy heat resistant crust on top of the cooking oil surface, preventing the flammable vapours reacting with oxygen. It has the same quick flame knockdown as Dry Powder or Foam, but Class F Wet Chemical has the advantage of the high heat resistant fire blanket.

The fire extinguishing agent is extremely effective and has an 8A-34B-25F rating with only 2 litres of 50% concentration. Therefore, not only does this extinguishing agent offer a Class F rating it also provides Class A & Class B fire protection. Meeting EN3 European standard as a Class A-B-F water additive.
