Fire Protection Gas Suppression System or simply called as Automatic Fire Suppression System (or Gas Suppression System), is relatively a new technology. - Once the tubing detects the fire, it ruptures, resulting in a drop of pressure causing the indirect valve to activate. The valve diverts flow from the detection tube to the larger outlet ports.
- When the fire suppression system kicks in, a suppressing agent is discharged from the cylinder through the diffuser nozzles, flooding the area while effectively suppressing the fire quickly and thoroughly.
- An indirect release system is typically used in larger areas that require a high volume of extinguishing agents to suppress the fire effectively.

The most ground breaking feature of the system is the specially designed heat-sensitive pneumatic polymer detection tubing. It is connected at one end to a AR Suppression® extinguishing agent container, while the rest of it runs unobtrusively throughout the area at risk.When the flame comes in contact with the heat sensitive tubing and reaches a temperature of 110°C to 138°C, the tubing bursts open at that exact spot and forms a miniature nozzle. The pneumatic mechanism triggers the valve of the extinguisher and sprays the extinguishing agent out of the tube directly onto the flame, annihilating the fire instantaneously.
